On Monday morning her flight landed in New Delhi’s international airport. Dressed in a red and white salwar kameez, Geeta was welcomed by Indian and Pakistani officials. Janardhan Mahato’s family, who claim to be her kin, were also present at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Earlier this month, Geeta had identified her family from a picture sent to her by the Indian High Commission.
