RSS’ youth wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidya Parishad (ABVP) held a “Save DU March” from Arts Faculty on Thursday.

The motive behind the march was “to join hands against the anti-national elements that try to hinder the peaceful atmosphere of our university” and against those “who talk about breaking the integrity of the country”.

ABVP Retaliates Against 'Goondagardi' Charges

Claiming that the ruckus at Ramjas College was the handiwork of Left student groups and “JNU students on hire”, the ABVP denied having played a role in the violence.

As chants of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’ filled the air today, the ABVP’s members and supporters called for ‘anti-national elements’ to leave the country. The show of strength comes within 48 hours of the protest in DU against ‘the goondagardi of ABVP’.
