Delhi and Beijing are world’s two most polluted cities. And the two have very different ways of dealing with it.

Long famous for its toxic air, Beijing had to bow down to the pressure from people to keep pollution under control. This led to an air quality index, strict traffic laws and moving and closing down of factories and power-plants.

New Delhi has far more polluted air than Beijing. But experts feel there is a greater need of awareness among people. Only then can the government be spurred into action.
