CCTV Captures a Drunk Driver Dragging a Cop for Over a Kilometre

This CCTV footage captures a police officer being dragged by a car for almost a thousand metres before he finally managed to escape.

In the video, the white car can be seen carrying the officer on the side of the driving seat and crossing a couple of junctions amid traffic.

According to news reports, the officer tested the driver to see if he was drunk when the man suddenly shut the window and tried to drive away, trapping the officer next to the car.

The policeman suffered minor injuries and the man was arrested in another province three days later. He is reportedly in custody pending further investigation.
