On Monday, yoga guru Baba Ramdev launched Patanjali Ayurved’s instant noodles. Patanjali’s atta noodles cost Rs 15, which they claim is cheaper than its rivals.
At the launch, Ramdev said, “For a very long time in India, foreign companies have enjoyed a monopoly in the instant food market. With our instant atta noodles, we aim to break that.”
Patanjali’s noodles will give competition to its rival, Maggi, which only recently returned in the market after a fiver-month ban.
