Chandan Nayak, an 11-year-old football prodigy from Bhubaneshwar is all set to travel to Germany to train with its top football club for two months.

But Chandan’s journey has not been a bed of roses by any means.

He was not being allowed to play in the selection round because he was considered ‘too short’. But once he convinced the coaches to let him try-out, he became one of the few who were selected for an all-expenses-paid junior football camp to Munich.

Nayak is one of the top five junior footballers in the country. He will get to play in the second most coveted club in Europe – FC Bayern Munich.
