New Xiaomi 65-Inch Mi TV, Mi Water Purifier & Mi Band 4 Launched

Xiaomi has launched a slew of products for the Indian market, including Mi TV support for Netflix & Amazon Prime.

Xiaomi has updated its portfolio of TVs for the Indian market with the launch of four new TVs. This includes a new 65-inch Mi TV which comes with 4k resolution along with a 43-inch, and a 50-inch variant as well. The company has also launched a 40-inch FHD version priced at just Rs 17,999.

The 65-inch variant has been priced at Rs 54,999 while the 50-inch and 43-inch variants have been priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 17,999 respectively.

The 65-inch variant sports a brushed metal frame and very thin bezels. It offers 4K UHD resolution and outputs almost 8 million pixels as claimed by the company. Xiaomi has also introduced something it calls Vivid Picture Engine, which accentuates the overall image and clarity of the picture on the screen.

The biggest update to come to the new Xiaomi TV lineup is the introduction of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video with the TV lineup. With these two additions, Xiaomi now has an upper hand over its competitors.

Dolby audio has been introduced to the lineup not to mention it also adds a refreshing new look to its Patchwall 2.0 interface. The new TV supports Android 9.0 out of the box. For audio, the 65-inch Mi TV comes with 20w speakers at the bottom of the panel.

Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Band 4 at Rs 2,299, which comes with an AMOLED display now and offers multiple fitness activities (more than 15). It comes with water resistance now has a 3-axis gyroscope to help track other fitness activities better. In terms of battery life, Xiaomi claims that it can deliver up to 20 days of battery life.

Beyond the conventional tech, Xiaomi has also introduced a water purifier to its lineup of smart home devices called Mi Smart Water Purifier, which costs Rs 11,999. It has a clean look to it in terms of ergonomics and comes with a triple filter setup inside. It can be controlled via an app and also gives you constant updates on the quality of the water.
