The chinese tech company Xiaomi announced a price cut to their flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4, 16 GB version. The Mi 4, 16 GB model will now be available for Rs 14,999. That’s Rs 5,000 less than the original price of Rs 19,999.

Xiaomi celebrated the sale of 1 crore Mi 4 phones worldwide and then announced the price cut.

The company had recently slashed the price of the 64 GB variant of the Mi 4 in India by Rs 4,000. Now retailing at Rs 19,999, the 64 GB price cut was logical.

The Mi 4, Xiaomi’s flagship model, is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor backed by 3 GB RAM. It sports a 5-inch IPS FullHD display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It supports 4G LTE and runs on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. It also sports a 13MP rear and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The device is backed by a 3,080mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 2.0.

The device now also supports the Sunlight display that was seen on the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
