Two New Micromax Canvas Selfie Phones Launched, Start at Rs 5,999
Micromax launches Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 starting at Rs 5,999.

Micromax launched two selfie smartphones in India, the Canvas Selfie 2 priced at Rs 5,999 and the Canvas Selfie 3. The price of the Canvas Selfie 3 has not been announced.
The Canvas Selfie 2 will be available from August 22 and the Canvas Selfie 3 from the last week of August.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 sports a 5-inch 854x480 pixel display and comes with a 5-megapixel front as well as rear camera.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of storage. The Selfie 2 will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The difference in the two 5-megapixel cameras is that the front camera comes with an OV5670 sensor and a 4-element lens and the rear camera comes with an OV5648 sensor and 4-element lens.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 sports a bigger 8-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera.
Canvas Selfie 3 will sport a 4.8 inch AMOLED HD display and will be powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Canvas Selfie 2 will sport a 2,000 mAh battery and the Canvas Selfie 3 will have a 2,300 mAh battery.
Micromax will also bundle a bluetooth enabled Selfie Stick with the Canvas Selfie 3.
