1. Now Pay for Metro, Parking & Shopping With One Nation One Card

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the smart card on 4 March in Delhi.

What if you can own a card that not only works to pay for metros, but parking and even shopping too? The One Nation, One Card smart card launched this week claims to do exactly that.

This is a contactless smart card, which can be used across different platforms that includes transport, banking and retail. This means that the card can be used for transactions at ATMs for withdrawal of money. In addition to this, you can even use it for paying toll and parking charges as well.

The One Nation, One Card (ONOC) is India’s first indigenously-developed National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) and will be available from across 25 banks to people in the country.

If anybody told you that playing video games all day will get you no where, well they were wrong. So wrong!

These days there are many out there who are earning lakhs just by playing games like PUBG, honing their skills by constant practice and ample game time. PUBG is one of the most played multiplayer mobile game in the world with almost 30 million daily active users. India is the second largest user base for PUBG after the US.

The Quint had the opportunity to catch up with two participants of the upcoming PUBG MOBILE India Series 2019, which is the first ever national level PUBG tournament being organised in the country and will take place on 10 March in Hyderabad.

3. Zuckerberg Plans Privacy-Friendly Facebook But Offers No Clarity

Mark Zuckerberg said Facebook will start emphasising on new privacy-shielding messaging services, a shift apparently intended to blunt both criticism of the company's data handling and potential antitrust action.

But Zuckerberg didn't suggest any changes to Facebook's core newsfeed-and-groups-based service, or to Instagram's social network, currently the fastest growing part of the company.

"It's not that I think the more public tools will go away," Zuckerberg said in an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press.

The USB Promoter Group on Monday confirmed that, “50 companies are actively participating in the final stages of review of the draft specification. And the USB 4 specification is on track to be published around the middle of 2019.

That is the time when the details for the upgraded USB Type C to support USB 4 will be revealed.
