Another Battery Explosion: Samsung Note 2 Catches Fire in Aircraft

A Samsung Note 2 handset reportedly caught fire in an aircraft which landed at the Chennai airport on Friday, said a DGCA official.

The DGCA has now issued an advisory to airlines to inform passengers to be careful while carrying Samsung Note headsets.

Samsung reportedly wanted to take possession of the damaged handset, however they have been summoned by DGCA officials.
