Samsung Launches the Slim Galaxy Tab S2 at Rs 39,400

Samsung India launched, what they say is, the world’s slimmest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2. Samsung’s latest 4G enabled Galaxy tablet comes with a Super AMOLED display, optimised with all new 4:3 screen ratio. The Galaxy Tab S2 is made of a metal frame and is super-slim at just 5.6mm.

The tablet weighs 392 grams and packs in 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB with an external card.

The tablet features an Exynos Octacore processor (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) backed by 3GB RAM. There is also an 8-megapixel auto-focus primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come in a 9.7-inch version with Wi-Fi and LTE, 32GB inbuilt and expandable up to 128GB with external storage. It will be available for sale across all retail outlets from 2nd September onwards.

Priced at Rs 39,400/- for consumers, the Galaxy Tab S2 will be available in three colours – gold, black and white.
