Sachin Tendulkar-Branded SRT.Phone Launched in India

The Sachin Tendulkar smartphones hits the market, with the price starting at Rs 12,999.

Indian master blaster and sports star, Sachin Tendulkar, has launched yet another smartphone in India dubbed the SRT phone. The device has been launched under the umbrella of Smartron, an Indian tech start-up, funded majorly by Sachin.

This is the second phone from the company post the t.phone, which was launched in 2016.

The srt.phone has been launched in two variants. The 32GB variant is available for Rs 12,999, while the 64GB variant at Rs 13,999. The phone is also available with exclusive photos of Sachin and autographed back covers.

While the device falls in the budget category, it does sport an impressive specs sheet.

The company has emphasised that it will provide regular update to the Android 7.0 Nougat that the phone comes bundled with. The company is also offering unlimited cloud storage to users via Smartron’s TronX platform.
