Apple's next generation of iPhones are rumoured to have two large-screen variants. According to the latest report by a Taiwanese publication Economic Daily News, both the large-screen phones will be compatible with the Apple Pencil.
The Pencil was first unveiled in 2015 with the original 12.9-inch iPad Pro and works with all iPad Pro models launched since then. Apple in March made the tool compatible with the sixth generation 9.7-inch iPad targeted at students.
If these rumours turn out to be true, it will be the first time Apple phones will use a stylus, contradictory to Steve Jobs' statement that 'nobody wants a stylus', while introducing the first iPhone in 2007.
Apple is expected to unveil three iPhone models at this year's keynote. Since the Apple pencil on the iPad is too big to use on a phone, we are expecting a new Pencil for the iPhones if these rumours are true.
