Reliance JioFi Now Priced at Rs 1,999; Night Plans Only for 2-5 AM

The company’s portable WiFi device gets a price cut, and more details of the plan have been shared by Jio.

Reliance has slashed the price of its mobile WiFi router JioFi which is now available at Rs 1,999. This portable device lets users with a 2G/3G phone to enjoy high-speed internet provided by Jio right now.

The JioFi device was previously selling for Rs 2,899 bundled with a Jio 4G SIM. This has been available at Reliance Digital and Xpress Mini stores across the country.

However, the most interesting bit about Jio 4G plans that is worth mentioning here is the details about the so-called night unlimited 4G data. As highlighted by the company, the night data plan is only applicable between 2 to 5 AM.

Also, the 8 and 20GB JioFi hotspot data usage comes with a big catch. Once the user has crossed his/her available data limit, they will be charged at Rs 50/GB.

For now, users can openly get on board with Jio 4G as the company has announced Jio Welcome Offer which is a follow up to the popular Jio Preview Offer, and will be applicable from 1 September to 31 December 2016.
