Pre-Book the Reliance JioPhone 4G Feature Phone For Rs 500
Prebooking the JioPhone starts today, and here’s how much you have to pay for it.
Reliance is all set to meet the rushed demand for its 4G VoLTE feature phone called JioPhone from 24 August onwards. The phone’s features are live on the company website and buyers can head over to nearest Reliance Digital store or any multi-brand retailer in their city.
The pre-booking starts from 5:30PM onwards across the country, and you can even sign up for the device via MyJio app.
According to details revealed earlier this week, one can pre-book the JioPhone through online and offline channels. The offline mode comprises of Jio retailers and multi-brand device retailers including the Reliance Digital stores network.
How to Pre-Book JioPhone?
The pre-booking can be done against a pre-booking amount of Rs 500, which will be adjusted against the fully refundable, one-time, security deposit at the time of delivery.
The balance of Rs 1000 towards security deposit needs to be paid at the time of the delivery of the device. A JioPhone user can use the JioPhone for 36 months, and can get a full refund of the security deposit of Rs. 1,500 by returning the used JioPhone.
JioPhone was announced by Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Industries on 21 July and the phone will go on sale from 1 September onwards. The device is available on first come, first serve basis, and those who pre-book the phone will be getting their hands on the JioPhone as soon as the units are ready to be shipped.
