Microsoft isn’t killing MS Paint from Windows 10, instead the app is heading over to the Windows Store, from where you can download it for free. This development might come as a sigh of relief for all those people who on Monday couldn’t believe that Microsoft was about to kill a product that’s been part of everyone’s childhood.

The company has shared its delight that so many people shared their feelings about MS Paint going away and confirmed that both the 2D and the new 3D avatars of MS Paint are here to stay.

However, what Microsoft will ask you to do is download the app (for free) from the Windows Store as the app won’t be available with the operating system by default.

Even after 32 years, MS Paint has a lot of fans and it’s been amazing to see so much love for our trusty old app. MS Paint is here to stay, it will just have a new home soon, in the Windows Store where it will be available for free.
