The Yu Yunique is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM. The phone is set to compete with the likes of the Motorola Moto E 4G and Xiaomi’s Redmi 2.

The budget smartphone has a lot to offer in terms of hardware as it comes with a 4.7-inch IPS HD display with 1280X720 resolution and 312 ppi of pixel density. The display uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for toughness.

India is at the tipping point of digital revolution and we expect 4G technology to push internet usage to an unprecedented level. Consumer demand is constantly shifting towards devices offering multi-tasking capabilities, 24x7 data connectivity with increased video consumption and real-time mobility solutions. However to boost adoption, 3 key things including price, product and reach are important. I feel that with Yunique being available at 4,999 through a partner like Snapdeal that has the farthest reach, we have a compelling preposition to delight the consumer.

The Yu Yunique runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system but if you are a CyanogenMod fan, you can download it on this phone. For gaming and graphics, the phone comes loaded with a 400MHz Adreno A306 3D Graphics core.
