Intex Launches Cloud M5 II for Rs 4,799

Homegrown smartphone company, Intex Technologies has launched its first under- Rs 5,000 smartphone. Called Cloud M5 II, it will be only available on Flipkart under an exclusive arrangement.
Priced at Rs 4,799 the smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA TN display and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC7731 Processor and is a Dual-SIM smartphone.
The Cloud M5 II also has a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera also with flash for clicking selfies.
The new Intex phone comes with an inbuilt memory of 8 GB, that can be expanded up to 32 GB.
This smartphone will be available in White+Orange and Black+Blue.
The under Rs 5,000 category is buzzing right now with new phones from Videocon and iBall. While Intex hopes to make inroads in this segment, its tie-up with Flipkart will also strengthen its push to sell models exclusively on the e-commerce platform.
