Everyone Has Gone Crazy About Instagram’s Ask Me Question Feature

Instagram has added a Questions sticker to its stories this week.

Users on Instagram are now holding “ask me anything” sessions with their friends.

Everyone’s favourite photo-sharing platform Instagram has got a new feature this week and people, as expected have gone bonkers about it. The Facebook-owned mobile app has added a new sticker option called Questions, which allows users to let other users ask them anything just like they do on Reddit.

You can select this feature from the sticker tray after taking a photo or shooting a video from the app. The sticker can be added to any picture or frame and you can add your question on it after that. The Questions sticker is available as part of Instagram version 52 on iOS and Android.

All these people just want to know one simple thing. ‘Why are people asking questions on f***** Instagram’ and they’ve got a point.

While technology giants like Google, Apple and even Facebook have been clamouring for people to get off their devices, we get Instagram, that tries to fill the vacuum of socialising in your life.

The point of Instagram was to compete with Snapchat, which it has done exceedingly well. What got into the team which compelled them into becoming a colourful version of Reddit, we’ll never know.

Questions sticker comes to Instagram for some reason. 

And just to make things a bit intriguing, many people asking questions on Instagram thought they were Sarahah-like anonymous and ended up embarrassing themselves. Turns out, the person posting the Questions sticker is well aware of the people asking him/her questions, which is available privately to him in a folder on the app.

Though you’re able to see who submitted each response in your viewers list where it’s private, when you share that response in your story, your friend’s photo and username will not be shown.
