How does a typical postpaid connection work? You choose a plan that you feel best suits your needs and commit to it. Some things work, some things don’t but like a good partner in a relationship, both you and your provider meet midway.

With Airtel Postpaid Promise, this arrangement is set to change. In what has till now been a predominantly a price-led category, the telecom operator is breaking new ground with product innovations. By offering benefits such as data rollover and handset protection, Airtel plans to change the postpaid game.

Data Rollover

Till now, irrespective of whether you exhaust your monthly data or not, a new month always started with a fresh data quota. It didn’t matter how much of your data from the previous month was unused. You had to either use it up before the next month started or be prepared to lose it. And data lost is money lost. Data rollover till now has been a western concept. Airtel Postpaid flags off the trend in India with its Promise. Starting August 1, you can now roll over your remaining data from the previous month into the next month. So no more data wastage or rushing it to use it all up in the same month.

Handset Damage

Airtel’s benefits don’t stop at this. While mobile internet is understandably under the telco’s purview, as part of Postpaid Promise, the company will now also cover handset repair expenses in case of accidental damage. You heard that right. This means that as an Airtel Postpaid customer your smartphone is now not just your responsibility, but also Airtel’s. At a nominal cost you get to protect your phone against accidental physical and liquid damage.

Family Plans

Being on Airtel also lets you save upto 20% on your family bills. You can get upto 5 members of your family on to a single plan and save a fair chunk on your postpaid bills.

Zero data wastage, handset damage protection and money-saving family plan – It’s clear that Airtel believes in putting customer satisfaction above all else. While it remains to be seen how other telcos match up to this, it’s safe to say that there couldn’t have been a better time to be an Airtel Postpaid customer. Find out more here.
