This year’s Google I/O has given us new features expected to be available with Android N but that’s all. The name of Android N will be done in the crowd-sourcing process this year. Head over to www.android.com/n and put your ideas to Google. We’re not sure at to how this method works but the result will be seen by all later this year.

In terms of features, Android N natively supports split-screen mode something that has been part of Samsung’s Galaxy series for few years now. The latest Android flavour also makes multi-asking with apps easier for the user.

With a simple one-click option, the user can switch between the current app and the one they had opened previously.

In addition to that, Android N also gets built-in support for virtual reality via daydream. This feature offers mobile devices to project enhanced VR quality at an affordable cost.  Google has confirmed that brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Asus will be offering devices with Daydream built-in to the newest Android version later this year.
