Google announces new Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, New Chromecast, Chromecast Audio, Android Marshmallow and Pixel C.

Time for Pixel C.

New device from Google.

C stands for convertible.

It’s a touch and type tablet computing device.

It has a 10.2-inch screen.

It has a bluetooth keyboard and the keyboard charges inductively via the tablet. The battery lasts 2 months.

Nvidia X1 processor with Maxwell GPU.

3GB RAM

Priced start at $499 for tablet and $199 for the keyboard. Starting Christmas.

Moving to Chromecast Audio.

It makes your old home speaker smart.

It works with devices that work on your home network.

Spotify to support Chromecast and Chromecast Audio.

Chromecast Audio will be available starting today in 17 countries at $35.

Moving on to gaming now, Chromecast can be used to stream a game on your TV screen and use your smartphone as a game controller.

There is voice search on Chromecast app.

The new app will be rolling out in the next few weeks on Android and iOS.

Fast Play to fetch video streams in advance.

This means no more buffering of videos.

Next up the new Chromecast app and content discovery.

The new Chromecast App is completely redesigned.

It shows you content from apps installed on your phone.

Chromecast Audio announced.

It plugs into a home speaker to stream audio over Wi-Fi from your existing apps.

Google gives an Early preview of Google Photos shared albums, that will be available later this year.

Chromecast for photos rolls out this week on Android and will be followed on iOS.

20 million Chromcast sold globally.

The New Chromecast has an entirely new adaptive antenna system.

Now you can work on your phone while streaming stuff on TV via Chromecast.

Android Marshmallow to come on Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9, and Player roll out from next week.

Google Play Music family plan to launch later this year.

For $14.99 per month, 6 people can be on one family plan.

Both of these Nexus phones work with Project Fi, Google’s wireless network that the company has been testing for some time now.

A new warranty program, called Nexus Protect.

The Google Nexus Protect program unveiled just like Apple’s, Apple care.

Users will get a second year of warranty and two years of coverage on accidental damage.

$69 for the 5X, $89 for the 6P and Google to provide with a replacement device while the phone gets repaired at the service centre.

Both the phones ship later in October 2015.

The phones are completely unlocked and will work with major carriers.

The new Nexus devices comes with less preloaded apps.

‘Okay Google’ can work when the screen is off.

The camera supports slow motion video, the 5X does it at 120 frames per second. The 6P can do 240 fps.

The phones are capable of capturing 4K video recording.

Something that Samsung did, double tap on home button to launch the camera on the new Nexus devices.

Now moving on to the Google Nexus 5X.

As usual it’s made by LG.

Has a  5.2-inch display and weighs 136 grams.

Loaded with a 2700 mAh battery, powered by a 64-bit processor.

Also includes Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C.

Colour options:  Carbon Black, Sports White, and Ice Blue.

Nexus Imprint” is a “seamless way of authenticating with your fingerprint.

5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display.

It’s similar in size to the iPhone 6 Plus.

There’s a USB Type-C port that can charge the device twice as fast as an iPhone 6 Plus.

12.3 megapixel Sony imaging sensor.

5MP Selfie camera.

Nexus 6P runs on Android 6.0, Marshmallow.

The phone comes with laser-detect autofocus.

Google’s Nexus launch event is here. We’ll be getting you the live updates form the event, when it begins at 9:30 pm IST but.

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai takes the stage and announce the next generation of Nexus devices. There will be two new models of smartphones.

One from LG the Nexus 5X and the other from Huawei, the Nexus 6P.

LG accidentally leaked the specs of the Nexus 5X recently on Amazon.

It’s rumoured that Nexus 5X will have a 5.2-inch full-HD display and will be powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor backed by 3GB RAM.

There will be a 12MP/5MP camera combination, and a 2700 mAh battery on the phone.

The phone will also include laser autofocus and a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Google Nexus 6P

It is rumoured to sport a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with ultra HD 2K resolution powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and backed by 3GB of RAM.

There will be three storage options of 32/64/128GB. The camera module is expected to be a 12-megapixel as primary and 8-megapixel for the selfie camera.

There will also be a fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port and a huge 3,450 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Twitter has already starting to buzz with the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P launch excitement.
