Fortnite, the open-world online game that has taken the world by storm, has finally made it to the Android platform.

At Samsung's Unpacked event in New York on Thursday, Fortnite makers revealed the game's entry into the Android platform along with the unveiling of Samsung's flagship phone Galaxy Note 9, with an early exclusive access for Samsung users.

However, the exclusive is only for a few days and will end well before the launch of the Galaxy Note 9.

Fortnite is finally coming to Android.

At the event, it was announced that the company is yet to disclose the date of the Android beta release. For now, those who own a Samsung Galaxy S7 or a newer Samsung device can sign up and play right now. Other Android users will have to wait for a few more days.

However, it also said in a statement that appeared on the company’s website that the beta will roll out for other Android devices this week itself, meaning the game will be available for everyone before the Note 9 makes it to the markets.

There will still be some exclusives for the Note 9 users, who will get a new game skin called Galaxy and if you pre-order the phone, you will get 1,500 V-bucks (in-game currency).

Phones supported:

  • Samsung Galaxy S7
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+
  • Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+
