Documents obtained by The Guardian reveal Apple Inc is building a self-driving car in Silicon Valley.

The report says that Apple is currently scouting locations in San Francisco Bay to test out its self drive car, code-named Project Titan.

This is the first time that documents as evidence have been obtained that confirm Apple’s car project.

Apart from the documents, Apple has hinted that it is leaning towards breaking into the automobile industry.

The car is the ultimate mobile device.
Jeff Williams, Senior Vice President of Operations, Apple Inc.

Apple has not yet confirmed or denied Project Titan or their self-driving car, but one company that will be closely watching this project is Google.
