After Apple rolled out Apple Music for Android users, Google has reverted with its own YouTube music app for Android and Apple users.

Right now, the YouTube Music is only available in the US, just like Apple Music on Android. The app gives users curated playlists for their music needs and also backgroud streaming services.

Google says that the new app gives users complete access to one of the richest music catalogues on earth. You’ll be able to quickly find music videos, tracks, artists and albums, but you’ll also see all the remixes, covers, lyric videos and concert footage that YouTube has to offer.

Google is also bundling the app with a YouTube Red membership. This is YouTube’s ad-free service, through which users will be able to listen to music offline and seamlessly switch between video or audio-only, even when they’re in another app or have their phone screens turned off.

Users in the US can download YouTube Music on the Google Play store or the App Store. Right now the service is only available in the US, with the India rollout to follow soon.
