OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition: New Variant at Existing Price

The new colour variant of OnePlus 6T goes on sale in India from 16 November.

OnePlus launched its 6T variant in October, but as its ritual goes, there’s a new purple colour option in town, adding to its product line up. The purple editin phone is priced at Rs 41,999 and comes in only one model: 8GB + 128GB storage. It is now available in the country via online and offline retail platforms.

Hardware and even feature wise, it’s no different from the regular OnePlus 6T, but here’s a look at how the Thunder Purple variant stands out in comparison to the Mirror Black and Matte Black versions.

It carries the same 6.4-inch AMOLED screen as on the OnePlus 6T. 

No change in the hardware, even the cameras are same. 

This variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The notch has been slimmed down to offer more screen space. 

No headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T. 

It’s marginally thicker than the OnePlus 6. 

Supports dual-SIM but no scope to expand storage. 

Fingerprint scanner has been removed from the back. 

Both face and fingerprint IDs on the front.
