Smartphone maker Nubia has launched the successor to the Red Magic gaming phone series with the launch of the Nubia Red Magic 3 in India.

This Nubia Red Magic 3 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 35,999 for the 8 GB RAM variant and 46,999 for the 12 GB RAM variant.

The Red Magic 3 was first launched in China this year. There are other gaming smartphones in the India market like the Black Shark 2 and Asus ROG Phone which are its direct competitors.

The phone packs powerful hardware like an enormous 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. It also sports a 6.65-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Perfect for high-definition gaming.

It also comes with touch sensitive buttons on the sides which act as gaming triggers. The LED light strip design has been carried forward from the Red Magic.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 runs on the latest Snapdragon 855 processor. 

Weighing 215 grams the phone is quite heavy and will take a toll on your wrists if you resort to long gaming hours.

Running the show inside is the top of the line Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with RAM options between 8 GB and 12 GB. The Red Magic 3 also features a centrifugal fan to cool the device. The device also has a toggle to switch to Gaming Mode where there is a significant performance boost.

Additionally, the phone also features a pogo pin connector making it compatible with other smartphone gaming accessories such as controllers, which can be purchased separately.

It also comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera.

However, Nubia hasn’t confirmed the availability of these accessories.

It comes with a single lens 48-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture camera at the back while at the front it features a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
