1. Is India Ready for Pickup Trucks?

Vikram Gour, co-founder, MotorScribes, often asked himself why we had SUVs, compact SUVs, MPVs and crossovers, but never had a big enough market for lifestyle pickup trucks in India. A good classy pickup truck would find a lot of takers here for sure, yet we don’t see this segment gaining any traction in the market except for the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway and the Tata Xenon, which have achieved limited numbers.

2. Review: Audi RS7 Sportback Should be Batman’s First Choice

German car maker Audi is on a roll in India with over six launches in 2015. We at The Quint have driven almost all of them – from the Audi A6 Matrix, to the Audi TT Coupé, and the Audi Q3.

What we were waiting to get our hands on was the Audi RS7 Sportback – a super-luxury sports car that’s priced at Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The RS7 promises to deliver luxury at the speed of sound.

3. Volkswagen Temporarily Stops Sale of Polo Model in India

German auto major Volkswagen asked its dealers in India to temporarily stop selling its premium hatchback Polo, citing a technical issue, which however is not related to the emission scandal that has hit the firm in the US and Europe.
