The Land Rover Defender has been around for 68 years. It was launched way back in 1948, and since then the car has been pretty much the same, making it iconic and pretty much a collector’s item.

When Jaguar Land Rover recently stopped the production of this vehicle, there were a lot of Defender lovers whose hearts were broken. However, news of a new model hitting the roads provided the necessary silver lining.

The latest announcement, however, is getting mixed reactions from around the world. The company is reportedly going to let go of the classic styling and opt for something that is more ‘modern’.

We see why that may make sense, but then again the car had become iconic thanks to its design, and changing that, just doesn’t seem like a good idea.
