Skoda’s First 7-Seater Kodiaq Launched In India at Rs 34.49 Lakh
Skoda Kodiaq launched in India at Rs 34.49 lakh. Comes in only a 2.0 litre diesel variant.
The latest addition in the Skoda family is here. The Czech company has launched its first ever 7-seater SUV, the Kodiaq, in India at Rs 34.49 lakhs.
The car has been launched in only one variant – the 4-cylinder 2.0 litre diesel that pumps out 150 bhp of power and 340 Nm or torque. The car will be available in four colours and will come with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The Kodiaq offers an 8-inch full touch infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and screen mirroring. The car has 3-zone climate control and comes with a full view panoramic sunroof.
The boot space with the third row down comes to 270 litres, while with all seats down it comes up to a whopping 2,005 litres.
India will only receive the 18-inch wheels for the brawny SUV, with a wheelbase of 4,697mm and stands at 1,665mm (without the roof rails).
The all-LED headlamps are sharp and come with cornering functionality.
The Kodiaq is capable of delivering 16.25 kmpl fuel economy, or so the company claims.
It comes with multiple drive modes like Eco, Sport and Individual, not to mention vertical air conditioning vents, wi-fi hotspot, and a 360-degree reversing camera. Other features include automatic rain sensing wipers, an umbrella holder in the front doors and retractable door protectors, among others.
The Skoda Kodiaq will compete with the Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner in terms of price. In fact, it is slightly more expensive compared to these two, but for the features on offer, it seems like a good deal. That’s even more so if you look at it as a baby Audi Q7, in terms of looks.
