Jaguar Land Rover has come out with an app which allows the car to connect with your Android wear smartwatch. Unveiled at the 2016 Wearable Technology Show held in London, the app lets you remotely control many features on the car.

The app allows you to activate climate control by remotely starting the engine, which will set the cabin temperature to your liking even before you enter the car.

But that is the only useful feature. Other things that you can do, we presume, is for people who are extremely forgetful, is to remotely check the vehicle’s fuel level and monitor its location just in case you forget where you parked it, or if someone steals it.

One can also remotely lock and unlock the doors through their Android Wear smartwatch. The app will be compatible with every new Jaguar that comes out in the future, along with all models that are currently equipped with InControl Remote or InControl Protect systems like the Jaguar F-Pace.
