Harley Davidson India unveiled two new motorcycles for the India market, the Softail Deluxe and Low Rider. These are the upgrades to the already launched models, which hit the Indian market in October 2017. The Softail Deluxe has been priced at Rs 17.99 lakh, whereas the Softail Low Rider will be available for Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Amidst the recent comments by United States President Donald Trump on the drop in import duty levied on Harley Davidson motorcycles coming to India not benefiting American manufacturers in any way, Harley Davidson India has been ‘generous’ enough to reduce the prices of their touring and custom vehicles line-up.

Just an update!

The Road King, which previously attracted a price of Rs 28,37,000 will now be available for Rs 24,99,000. The Street Glide Special, which was previously available for Rs 33,50,000 will now be available for Rs 29,99,000 and Road Glide Special fans can now get the bike at Rs 32,99,000.

Meanwhile, back to the bikes that have been unveiled!

The new Low Rider is much lighter in weight, thanks to its high stiffness carbon steel tubular frame, which makes it almost 65 percent lighter.

The 2018 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe attracts vintage styling with bright stainless-steel and abundance of chrome which lend a very American-like cruiser theme to the machine.

The Softail Deluxe is powered by the same 107 Milwaukee-Eight as the rest of the 2018 Harley-Davidson Softail range. This ensures 10 percent faster acceleration and a smoother, much more refined performance.
