Never miss an opportunity to ride.

Simple rule in life.

So when Royal Enfield put together a group consisting of a farm owner, a restaurateur, a transport business owner, an ad-man, a Spanish lady who has travelled to 44 countries on motorcycles and others, I jumped at the chance to ride along with them.

Veteran rider and photographer Harsh Man Rai, who now heads Special Projects at Royal Enfield, had mapped out a unique off-the-beaten-track route from Mumbai to Goa.

The journey that takes us through coastal Maharashtra, sometimes with our bikes on a ferry or on the beach, literally.

The route on Day 1: Navi Mumbai - Khopoli - Kolad - Khed - Dabhol - Guhagar.
