Mercedes-Benz has launched a new variant of the C-Class in the form of the C 250D. Currently, the German Automaker sells the C-Class in two variants – C 200 and C 220 D. The 250 will be placed as the top variant, with a price tag of Rs 44.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

What’s new in the 250 is the 9G-Tronic transmission, which the company is slowly integrating into all of its offerings.

It is powered by a 2143cc diesel engine, which produces 204 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, making the car capable of 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. The company also claims that the car gives a mileage of 19.71 km/l.
