The Audi Q7 has been one of the German automaker’s best-selling cars in India, and when the company decided to launch the new model, Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri couldn’t stay away.
The car, to go on sale priced at Rs 72 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi), sports Audi’s latest design language and comes loaded with technology.
The Audi Q7 is powered by a 3 Litre V6 TDI diesel engine that churns out 249 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The V6 is connected to an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission system and comes with Audi’s Quattro All-Wheel Drive technology.
The Matrix LED headlamps, large chrome grille and the sharp angular design of the car’s exteriors make the Q7 look aggressive.
But it is on the inside that the car starts to feel completely redesigned. It comes loaded with technologies like the 12.3 inch 1440x540 pixel Audi virtual cockpit screen and Bose 3D sorround sound system that is connected to 19 speakers inside the car.
The new Audi Q7 is 325 kilos lighter than the outgoing model. According to Audi, the latest version offers a 22 percent improvement in fuel economy and a claimed mileage of 14.75 kmpl.
