Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Avenger Street 160 with ABS. The Avenger Street 160 is priced at Rs 82,253 ex-showroom, a price point that rivals most commuter motorcycles in the 160 cc segment such as the Honda Hornet and TVS Apache.

The Avenger Street stands out because of its cruiser styling. It’s also available in 220cc as well. It now comes with single channel ABS on the front wheel, while the rear gets a drum brake.

It sports a roadster design headlamp with LED DRLs, new graphics with larger Insignia, low & long profile, black alloy wheels and a rubberised rear grab.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 sports a distinctive cruiser styling.
The Bajaj Avenger was first introduced in 2005, replacing the ‘Eliminator’ that had a similar design. That bike was originally built in collaboration with Kawasaki. It carved a niche for itself as a leisure cruiser.

The Avenger series is positioned as a bike for those who want to commute in the city as well as go touring on the weekends. It comes with a 160cc single-cylinder engine that puts out 15 bhp of power and 13.5 Nm of torque with a five-speed gearbox. It shares its engine with the Bajaj Pulsar.

It has a low saddle height of only 730 mm, which suits short riders and offers a leisurely riding position. It comes in two colours – Ebony Black and Spicy Red – with a range of lifestyle accessories as well.
