Emflux One Electric Superbike Rolls Out for Rs 6 Lakh in India

The much talked about electric super bike from Bengaluru-based startup Emflux finally made its public debut at the Auto Expo 2018 on Thursday. The bike, much to our surprise has been priced between Rs 6 lakh and 11 lakh, depending upon the kind of features the buyer aspires for. It’s got a full-faired design, that could have a better looking production model, yet to be shipped.

Speaking of which, Emfiux will be making 200 units of the Emflux One which will be sold via online channel in the country. They also have plans to export over 300 units to other parts of the world. The company expects to be ready to start shipping deliveries from April 2019, and hope to have made at least one delivery by then.

Emflux is a brand which is looking to go beyond the ordinary with its claims of coming out with an electric super bike that’ll be a match for established names like Triumph and Kawasaki. And from what we’ve seen on Thursday, we’re excited to see more of the same.

The Bengaluru-based firm has claimed that the Emflux One has a maximum speed of 200 km/hr and can run for about 200 Km. The bike packs a lithium ion battery that’ll get fully charged in one hour, as the company informed us on the sidelines of the launch.

The Model 1 is expected to offer 84Nm of torque which lets the bike go from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3 seconds.

The 7-inch TFT display is loaded with information.

The bike packs a liquid-cooled AC induction motor, a 7-inch touch TFT display which is highly intuitive with features like GPS navigation, real time vehicle diagnostics and auto updates all accessible via mobile app.

Other than this, Emflux One packs 17-inch Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres on both the sides, and they are even ambitious enough to say that offering Rosso III might not be out of the question in the coming years.
