Following Rohit Sharma’s blistering knock of 140 against Pakistan, Twitter went crazy in praise of the right-handed opener. But somewhere amid all the celebratory messages, one bit of prophecy stood out.

Recently retired all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter to predict that Rohit is on his way to become the Man of the Tournament. What more? He recalled how during this year’s IPL, he gave Rohit the same advice that Sachin Tendulkar had told him ahead of the 2011 World Cup.

Yuvraj was adjudged the Man of the Tournament in the 2011 World Cup for an all-round performance which saw him amassing 362 runs and picking up 15 wickets.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has so far scored 319 runs in three matches with two centuries.
