Rain Stops Play With Pak at 166/6: What Happens If It Doesn’t Stop

Chasing a stiff 337-run target, Pakistan were 166 for six in 35 overs against India when rain halted play for a second time during the World Cup clash on Sunday.
Imad Wasim (22) and Shadab Khan (1) were at the crease when the skies opened up as Pakistan need 171 more runs from 15 overs.
According to the Duckworth-Lewis system, that’s used to decide the outcome of rain-affected matches, the par score for Pakistan after 35 overs was 252 runs.
Meaning, they’re currently 86 runs behind where they need to be and thus if rain doesn't stop before play is called off, India will be declared the winner of the match.
A chase needs to have a minimum of 20 overs for a winner to be declared incase rain disrupts play.
