Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya faced an injury scare ahead of India’s second warm-up game against Bangladesh on Tuesday, 28 May. The 25-year-old was hit on his left underarm while taking throwdowns during practice.

Earlier, he was hit by a rising delivery which bounced a touch higher than he expected. After being hit on his left underarm, Hardik did not return for practice.

Pandya was however not ruled out of India’s second and final Warm-up game at Cardiff as Indian skipper Virat Kohli said only Kedar Jadhav was missing out as he hasn’t fully recovered from his injury. Bangladesh won the toss and put India in to bat first.
