South African captain Faf du Plessis won the toss against Bangladesh in their second match of the ICC World Cup 2019 and chose to bowl first on Sunday, 2 June.

Dale Steyn is still out of the playing 11 owing to a shoulder injury and so is Hashim Amla after suffering a blow to his helmet in the game against England. Both David Miller and Chris Morris are back for the Proteas.

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza said everyone is fit and they are playing their best side, clearing worries about opener Tamim Iqbal’s wrist injury.
