With just a three days to go for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Brazil and Chelsea football star David Luiz has pledged his support to Virat Kohli and Team India.

In a video tweeted by businessman and philanthropist Frank Khalid, Luiz can be heard saying, "Hello, Virat Kohli! Good luck for the World Cup bro. God bless you a lot, to you and your team. I’m gonna be supporting you. See you soon”.

In 2014, Kohli had posted a photograph of himself with a jersey of the London-based football club, when he visited Chelsea’s home ground at Stanford Bridge.

On 24 May, Kohli also posed with England and Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London. Both Kohli and Kane uploaded the image on their respective Twitter handles.

India begin their campaign in the World Cup on 5 June against South Africa.
