Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal, who is looking to make a comeback at the China Super Series Premier after a knee injury, feels that her career may be coming to an end.
Nehwal, who underwent surgery, is hoping to be in action on 15 November. The badminton player has started training but still needs to regain full fitness. Only a week before, she was bed-ridden after the surgery.
The Hyderabadi star has been out of competitive action since 20 August. Saina crashed out of the first round in the Olympics due to an infra-patellar spur displaced fracture and patellar tendon impingement in her right knee.
Nehwal went through a rehabilitation process under leading physiotherapist Heath Matthews for two months after her surgery and started regular training under coach Vimal Kumar at the Karnataka Badminton Association recently.
