Sania Mirza Bows Out of Wimbledon After Mixed-Doubles Loss

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza crashed out of the prestigious Wimbledon on Wednesday, after losing the third round of mixed-doubles match with partner Ivan Dodig, to defending champions Henri Kontinen and Heather Watson.

Kontinen and Watson now face off Rohan Bopanna and his Candaian partner Gabriela Dabrowski.

Fourth seeds Sania and her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig lost the 86-minute match 7-6, 6-4 to their unseeded rivals.

Now that Mirza has left the championships, Bopanna remains the only Indian to stay in the fray.
