India leveled the T20 series against Bangladesh at 1-1 after defeating the visitors by eight-wickets in Rajkot on Thursday, 7 November.

Skipper Rohit Sharma who was playing his 100th T20I match lead the team by example. He played a brilliant innings of 85 off 43, hitting the ball to every corner of the park.

Bangladesh could only manage 153 in their 20 overs. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took 2 wickets for 28 runs in his four overs. India looked in a hurry as they chased down the target in just 15.4 overs.

Twitter appreciated the efforts of the Indian team and congratulated them for the win.

Former IPL chairman, Rajeev Shukla tweeted, “Now that's a comeback in style. Many congratulations to @ImRo45 and for a thumping victory. Now that we are even, let's watch out for a series win at Nagpur.”

Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh wrote, “Rooooooooohiiiiiitttttt @ImRo45 that was some serious hitting Shaaanaaa congratulations team india @BCCI well bowled @yuzi_chahal .”

BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah wrote, “ A very brilliant and explosive innings by skipper @ImRo45 outplayed Bangladesh. Congratulations to for the well deserved victory to level the series. Let’s lift the trophy at Nagpur.
