Virat Kohli scored his sixth century of the Indian Premier League, against Sunrisers Hyderabad, on Thursday night.

While playing their penultimate league stage match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Kohli scored 100 runs off 63 balls that comprised of 12 fours and 4 sixes. However, he got out immediately after hitting the 100-run mark, getting caught by Glenn Phillips. He however had done enough to help the team get past the finish line and win the match by 8 wickets to collect the two points for the win.

With his first IPL century in four years, Kohli also equaled the record set by Chris Gayle, of having the most number of IPL centuries.

The fans were on cloud nine as their idol hit yet another milestone.
