Ravindra Jadeja to Tie Wedding Knot, Will Miss Two IPL Matches

Ravindra Jadeja will end up missing at least two IPL matches for GL as he his set to tie the nuptial knot on Sunday.

Gujarat Lions all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will miss Saturday’s Indian Premier League match against Mumbai Indians as he is all set to tie the nuptial knot with fiancée Riva Solanki, on Sunday.

“Ravindra Jadeja is not going to play today’s match and has not come to Mumbai with the team as he is getting married on Sunday,” sources in Gujarat Lions team said.

“It is also not sure whether he would be available for the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad to be played on April 21,”

The sources also added that since the game is to be played in Rajkot, there are still chances of Jadeja playing in that match.

The new entrant in the ninth edition of IPL has so far played well, registering two wins in as many matches.

Jadeja, one of the team’s key player, played well in the game against Rising Pune Supergiants where he took two wickets and conceded only 18 runs in his four-over spell.

Sources also said that Gujarat Lions team members are expected to attend the wedding reception on Sunday evening.
