The second Test between India and South Africa was called off on the fifth and final day due to rain and wet ground conditions at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The match saw action only on the opening day, with the next four days washed out due to rain.

India were 80 for no loss at the close of day 1 after South Africa were bowled out for 214 in A B de Villiers’ 100th Test.
