Rahul Dravid Declines an Honorary Degree – and Wins Our Hearts

That’s why when Rahul Dravid turned down an honorary doctorate from Bangalore University, we wondered how he would make it look graceful.

And he didn’t disappoint.

Dravid declined the doctorate saying that he wants to "earn a doctorate degree" rather than receiving it.

The University put out a press release saying that “while thanking the university for recognising him, (Dravid) has in all humility declined to accept the honorary degree."

This, quite obviously, melted many a hearts of social media. Here’s proof.
